Our Story

Melly’s World is brought to you by our founder, Melissa Riachi, who is herself a mom of two beautiful girls and a very elongated sausage dog!

Melissa and her family recently moved back to Lebanon (despite it all!) after having lived in London for 13 years. Her move back home was guided by her strong desire to be back in her homeland and to build something meaningful and pragmatic in the Lebanese community.

As a scientist by training with a meticulous eye for detail, Melissa’s vision for Melly’s World started from a simple idea : Market Accessibility. As a mom of two, Melissa has actively sought retail items for her girls from abroad (mostly from London and Europe) while she has been living in Lebanon for the last year and half.

The main reason behind this costly endeavour was the realisation that availability of affordable, good quality, stylish, and unique pieces in the Lebanese market is very scarce. As a result, Melly’s World was born with one simple goal in mind: to provide Lebanese people easy and quick access to trusted international brands.
